hardly describes their awe-
If the journey of a river can be taken as a metaphor for the journey of a life, then waterfalls represent its most dramatic and intense episodes. For the photographer, stalking the countryside in order to capture images, waterfalls stand out as areas of energetic drama in contrast to the otherwise tranquil landscape that surrounds them.
It is easy to see how the worlds largest waterfalls have become international tourist attractions but even the smallest ones make us aware of the true power of the natural world and the forces of nature that affect us all.
