Water or milk?

A slow shutter speed can make flowing water look milky, but it’s not the only way. Here the shutter speed was 1/30th so the camera could be hand-held with a wide angle lens. The fact is that the water is only dropping a few inches, but the camera is extremely close. That means the water is moving through the frame very quickly indeed and has created the milky effect even at a relatively fast shutter speed.
