Rocky rivers
Following the course of a river as it travels over a rocky landscape gives the photographer the widest range of possibilities for visual interest. These areas are usually easy to spot on a map and it’s always a good idea to start downstream and work your way up, climbing higher all the time. It’s also easier to get back home at the end of the day.
