Or a series of miniature waterfalls, as I like to think of it. One of the few situations when the view looking down river is similar to that looking upstream. On a technical note, this shot also shows the use of a polarizing filter. These will cut down (or emphasize) reflections in water in the same way as they do with glass. They make a tremendous difference when the sky is reflecting off the water’s surface, as it is here.
